Gladius, does it work on a ps3 and how does it hold up today?

Hi guys

So i've only recently discovered Gladius and it seems right up my street. However i was wondering whether it works on the ps3 (60gb)?. I've seen the compatibility lists and it seems to but i have also read otherwise :. Does anyone have any experience playing this game on the ps3?

My second question is how does this game hold up today? I don't mind old games at all but i was wondering if playing it on a 1080p screen is gonna burn out my eyes and what the framerate/ loads times are like?
