Is there anyway to make the battery life better on the DS4?

Dim the light on the DS4.

Get a 10' PS4 charge cable for a few bucks on Amazon.

Buy an extension cord and keep it plugged in. Next

@_Judas_: pretty much. The battery does suck

Well, you got the sixaxis, vibration, light, audio and the touchpad on the dualshock 3. That ought to spend more battery.

@theoldgods: You can replace the battery with the one from a DS3, which apparently gets you better battery life.

Why is the charger from the box so damn short anyways?

I had to keep mine plugged in most of the time, which defeats the whole purpose of a wireless controller....That being said I had my headphones plugged in most of the time as well since I lived in a shared house. Still sucks though.

You could always just buy a higher mah battery and replace it yourself.

Stock DS4 battery is 1000mah

Stock DS3 battery is 500mah so replacing it with that will actually worsen it.
