Drop my PS4 controller and have to restart?

How stupid is this? I'm in the middle of setup and due to Sony not being able to supply a longer USB cord for the controller, the controller has dropped 2 times during setup.

So both times the console freezes on the setup and there's nothing I can do but restart and start over. What's the point? This is stupid as hell.

here's a tip, Buy a longer USB :D or download setup while next to ps4, It's not rocket science. I bought a 10ft usb for 3 dollars on Ebay or Amazon.

This literally, or get lost and go back to your other brand of console.

It is a problem during account setup. I had it freeze when I entered a username I wanted. I finally finished account setup and they tell me Error. smh

Gonna need games now
