Don't Starve Free on Playstation Plus Tomorrow.

Don't starve is a Open World Sandbox Survival Horror game by Klei Entertainment. I think it looks very interesting and it will be making its console day view tomorrow FREE for PS Plus members, exclusively on PS4. Will you guys be diving into the world of Don't Starve? The point of the game is to simply survive in the wilderness and NOT Starve.. During the day you gather materials to build your safe house and camp grounds. At night the terror begins. Been playing for the past hour. Pretty fun little game.

Ended up playing it for about six hours. Fun game.

Been enjoying it as well but wanted to ask. I was watching some gameplay on YouTube where the player was able to make the nights much shorter on the ps4 version however when I go to settings, I can't seem to change any of those settings whatsoever. I've tried pushing different buttons to switch the different settings but nothing seems to help. Can anyone help?

Same here. From what I played of it, it seemed just "meh" for me. Maybe I need to give it another run.

I couldn't get into it, either. It feels like a goth Minecraft.

The nights are definitely too long, and in the bit I played, it looked like it was going to take too long to create some sort of shelter. Also, is there anything to do at night?

You might say I'm pretty hungry to play it.

I played it for a bit, survived for 3 days, ended up getting killed by a walking tree lol(like an ent from LOTR).....I should of just ran away, but I tried to light it on fire with a torch

I started playing again, was about to give up, but then found a rock which had a cave underneath, it was like a whole new underworld thingy there, made a pretty cool base with a bunch of machines, but then I ran out of torches and I was stuck in this square of light and I had to leave it to get stuff......apparently you just die when you go into the darkness for a bit.

As for me, It was my first time ever playing the game. Never payed it on PC. I did pretty good. Almost done with all the trophies. I am currently on day 32 with Willow. Set up a nice base camp and have 3 others visitation camps. Love the game. Id say i clocked about 10 hours plus so far. Hoping for a vita release so I can play on the go!

For free, yes.

It's one of those games that feels like a chore rather than a game. I keep playing just because the art is excellent and I'm hoping for some kind of 'aha' moment where I get it. So thankful it was free.

I started a new game, turned off nights, its much better that way, like what are you supposed to do at night anyways? Just sit beside the fire? Seems pointless, unless I am missing something

I made the world large though, and now I can't find my way back to my camp and its day 10 and shit is getting real, I have to get back to my camp so I can make an ice staff, but I'll probably die before I find it.

When in the settings, what button do you push to change that setting. Anything I try to push doesn't seem to work. Thanks

Hey, uh you have to do it when you start a new game, you get to pick your character, and then go to "World" and by default its on "default" lol

So just move your stick to the right and you can turn things off and on, like day and night, or certain enemies, but I'd just switch it to "always day"

you can't do it to a game you have already started
