I love the game but don't play it as much as I want to. It's difficult to play it while listening to music, and I just downloaded 3.5 GB of music from SXSW, and am going through the over 750 songs finding the good and filtering out the crap. The medioce in between might need a second listen, so it's a long process, as the total play time is 1.9 days. As a result, I can't play Patapon in my spare time.
i dunno, i played it, but found it to be irritating and hated it, but i love most rhythm games. i dont kno why, patapon just didnt do it for me. it was too repetitive.
try the demo. I played the demo for hours and decided that for $20 that patapon is a steal. I hear myself singing the chants when no one is listening... PATA-PATA-PATA-PON, CHAKA-CHAKA-PATA-PON, PON-PON-PATA-PON, i dream about those dancing eyeballs attacking in fever mode
Its an OK game, but I haven't played in a while. Just haven't felt up to it + gets kind of repetitive after a while. But the game is alright. Check out the demo before making your choice to buy.
I cant download the demo from the psn store. I mean I download it, but it only takes 512 bytes of storage. I dont know whats wrong. First the little yellow line appears saying that there is a risk and something about ActiveX, then I click download, and then I click download again and it downloads that file.. but it only takes 512 bytes!

In order to download content from the PS Store and into your PSP, you first need to download the software that will automatically transfer the downloaded file to your console.
dude, just get it..its currently my MOST FAVO psp game, and ive played TONS of psp games that i enjoyed...but those games enjoyability is nothing compared to patapon! i honestly believe those of you who say this game is repetitive havnt even beat 4 levels in the game!! lol..its also only frustrating if u dont level up your army(rpg style =) once you make your patapons stonger you can PWN the zigotons and bosses!! it feels soo awsome!! also u need to gave good rhythm, otherwise you'll just suck..lol....GET PATAPON!! its such a good CHEAP game..i wouldve gladly paid $40 for it..thats how good it is..
