COD3 help!!!

I just bought my PS3 this weekend along with COD3, I am having trouble downloading the update to play online.  It always gives me a fatal error halfway throught the process.  Can anyone please help me with this issue

If you're usin wi-fi i'd say try to use a wired connection. Otherwise just keep on trying. I got that error once and then re-tried and it worked fine.
