Rather than complaining about the Vita's lack of upcoming releases, I've decided to embrace the reality that there are tons of games worth playing on the PSN I could download. So far I've heard great things about Spelunky, and I watched a bit on Sound Shapes and that seems great as well. Any recommendations and a little bit about why you enjoy them?

Definitely get Sound Shapes because it's awesome. Some other games to check out are Guacamelee, Velocity Ultra (which will get you ready for Velocity 2X, which already looks deadly in pre-alpha stage), and Hotline Miami. That's probably where I would start. I'm sure others will chime in with their favourites.

Guacamelee is hands down the number one indie title on the VITA for me.

Stealth Inc, it's best described as Metal Gear N+, with a dash of Portal.

Sound Shapes is fantastic, Thomas Was Alone reminded me very much of Portal 2's narration style and i highly recommend it.

Spelunky and Hotline Miami are must-buys!

Spelunky, 'cus it's incredibly addicting, easy to get into, but hard to master and it'll take you forever to beat it 100% (which you'll definitely want to do).

Hotline Miami, 'cus it's pretty much the ultimate expression of video game violence. Amazing soundtrack, slick, retro graphics and the story is bonkers.

Sound Shapes Death Mode was the only entertaining part about that game.

Guacamelee is hands down the best game for Vita when it comes to indie. It's the best platformer for ps3 too.

I also liked Dungeon Hunter Alliance, tho it has big performance issues on ps3.
