As a non-fan of RPG games...

I played the Child of Light demo on PS4 and I gotta say...I kinda like it.

The playable demo is pretty long (about a half hour) and I was at least able to get a feel for what the game offered. It took me a little bit to understand the combat scenarios with the "turn-based" attacks. I still don't have a grasp on it, but maybe it gets easier?

I think this one may be a purchase for me. For the others on here that have played it, does it get better as you continue to level up your characters?

I'm not a RPG guy either, but the design and graphics drew me in. Looking forward to driving into this game soon. I'm curious to see how seasoned RPG fans, feel about this game.

Agreed. It does have some adventure elements and I like the ability to level up each character - gives the game some replay ability.

Well you know me.... If you'r gona play an RPG I reccomend Trine instead !

I'm not a big fan of the ATB System but atleast this one is not as bad as Final Fantasy

Opinions vary. Never was an RPG fan.

Not the biggest RPG person either but I do enjoy the game.... I'm still hooked on the combat of the game. Story is ok so far but nothing to write home about though.

I dont like turn based RPGs, but Child of Light combat system is amazing. It is not boring like others RPGs.

not all rpgs are turn based, wow you missed out on fallout 3 and new vegas? those are the best games of last gen, I'm praying fallout 4 comes out soon.

You should try Persona 4 Golden, Ni No Kuni and Final Fantasy X
