ACIV Jackdaw Edition - Content on disc?

Is the extra content like Freedom Cry from the Jackdaw Edition on the disc or downloadable? Can I buy it used or will there be a download code that won't work?

quite sure this is a DLC you have to get from PSN (as I was interested in this edition and finally chose the Skull edition, and it was always listed as DLC), maybe you can ask the seller if the code has been used?
