a quick question about infamous first light

I was debating on whether or not to pre-order the game but my curiosity for the preload got the best of me so my question is quite simple. When do we get to play the game is it at midnight? or do I have to wait for the PlayStation store update?

@agethe6: I know this is a late response, but my game was downloading like an hour or two before the store itself updated.

For anyone that's played it, is it okay? Ask because Gamespot gave it a lacklustre review.
