My 60GB PS3's memory slot cover has been cracked. Can I just call Sony and ask if they can replace this cover even if it also means paying out of my pocket in which I'm willing to do anyways?
Well, do you or anyone know if Sony can do stuff like that, even if it's as minor as a simple memory slot cover? I just want my PS3 to look nice all the time and this cracked cover isn't really appealing to me at the moment.

go for it but i dont think physical damage you do to the console is covered by warranty
