does anyone know if I can use this card to subscribe for psp plus? I don't want to use it to find out that I can't and am unable to return it. Please help, thanks. I am also in Canada so if any canadians who have experience can help me out would be better. This is the exact one I bought:

Wouldn't it be better if you ask at the official Playstation forum? That's where I found my solution on PSN queries quickly. Goodluck..

It adds $50 to your account, and then you can buy the 1 year PS+ for $49.99

You could have just looked beside that card and picked up the PS+ subscription in store, they sell those too now.

Yes, you can. No matter which way you add funds to your account, PS+ costs 49.99 on the PS Store. All of my funds have been added by way of PSN retail cards, and I bought PS+ just last week.
