1) Pokemon Red

2) Final Fantasy Vi. Amazing music, 16 bit amazing graphics, story that keeps you staying involved with the game.

First ever RPG was Dragon Warrior (NES).

My all-time favorite? Too tough to pick.

1. First Rpg: Final fantasy VII
   

Favorite RPG
Shin megami tensei: nocturne; Amazing dark story i've never seen in any jrpg, amazing metal music, hardcore difficulty(I had to use walkthrough just to beat the bossess), recruiting demon was fun, grinding was fun.

1) Final Fantasy when it first came out on NES.

2) To date...FFVIII

My First RPG was FF for the NES and my most favourite is a tough choice but it probably would be FF:VII or Chrono Cross for the PS.

My first: FFVII probably the same for many of us.

My favourite: Having played dozens, there are just too many to pick from.

I'm not sure but probably my first RPG is Moonstone, an Amiga classic.

and my favorite is Xenogears ( closely followed by Chrono Cross )

Favorite: Kingdom Hearts (great story, characters, and level design) KH 2 also great

First RPG: Shadowrun (SNes)

A great 16-bit cyberpunk RPG. Apart from the mostly brainless combat, (point, shoot, repeat) the the game is quite good.

Favorite RPG To Date: Final Fantasy Tactics (Playstation)

FFT has complexity and depth like no other video game I had seen before it, and few I have seen since. The game can be quite challenging, as there are a massive amount of variables the player must consider in order to devise effective strategies. Somewhere around the point when I had drawn out the full zodiac compatibility chart and taped it to my wall, I realized I was really getting into this game. In addition to the excellent gameplay, FFT also has an engaging story, great music, and well animated 2d characters.

Favorite RPG: FFX, Ohh how I love FFX, everything about it, well I was thinking of putting FFXII because it had a better battle system but.... YUNA!!!

First RPG- Ultima 2 (Atari Home Computer), later console- Dragon Warrior (NES)

Favorite RPG-I love many RPGs. Well... tough pick one... Xenogears, it had beautiful story, and awesome game.

2) Probably FFVII, cliché, I know. Either that or Baldur's Gate 1, for PC

First RPG I played = Dark Cloud (also the 1st game I bought for my PS2)

First RPG that I played that I actually liked = FFX (also the 2nd RPG I played).

Favorite RPG = Shadow Hearts Covenant. Loved the characters. Where else can you have a wolf, a vampire/pro-wrestler, and a German officer in your party? The side quests in this game were hilarious. I also loved unleashing Yuri's demon form--very cool battle animations. SH has the perfect blend of humor and adventure. But it isn't cutesy-it can actually be pretty dark at times. Great storyline, great game mechanics, great game.

My first video game RPG was called Eye of the Beholder for SNES. Unless I have forgotten something. But I think that was it. The first one I ever fell completely head over heels for and finished was FFVII, on the PC.

My favourite RPG for PS2 so far is FFIX (I know it's PS1 but I never owned one so myeh)

My favourite that was actually MADE for the PS2 so far has been FFX. I haven't had a chance to dive into FFXII yet, and Shadow Hearts from the New World is a lot of fun, but FFX has that FF magic.

Or maybe it's just all the Jenova Stigmata COURSING THROUGH MY VEINS!!
