Both of these games are cheap, I just don't know which one to get. Which one would you recommend the most?
Thanks..

ff12 is a deep and long RPG with a great stroyline
while SotC is a action and adventure game but you have face off 16 huge boss fights and thats it it sounds lame buts a lot of fun.
get both if you can but ff12 will hold you over and by the time you beat ff12 you have money to buy SotC
I have both, so I hope getting both is an option (if they are really cheap).
Having finished SotC the problem was it didn't take very long and the time attack options seem like an attempt to keep you interested for a little more. But in saying that it was really fun and exciting. FF:XII will have you playing for many hours not to mention the side quests the problem here is that you may get bored with the game play if you aren't used to RPG's.
remember these games are completely different so it may be wise to look over the other games in your collection and pick something similar you seem to have a lot of RPG's so get FF:XII. But then get SotC.
Don't mind Abbandon... He ALWAYS does that, he'd say the games you play are crap yet those he plays are the s*@!. jeivindr
Liar. When people talk about games or ask for opinions I give mine and thats all. Nobody here is worth my time to just harass them like that, like you do. You wont see me saying the games I play are perfect and utterly flawless either. There are flaws in every game and I do my best to talk about all of them.

I have read some of your reviews and some of your posts, and quite frankly your best just isn't good enough. You should stop to think about the way you criticise what you don't like: people respond very emotionally when something they like gets trashed...and from what I read so do you. You have every right to dislike every game ever made if you wanted...but at least do it with well grounded arguments and withou all the "crap" and "turd" comments that apparently are the only demeaning adjectives you can come up with.
Answering the thread: i think SotC is a good game but I prefer FFXII, because I'm a FF fan and if you prefer a game with longer longevity, beyond the main quest, FF is the best choice
THis thread helps me a lot too...
I regretted buying FF12 so much, it wasa big dissapointment.
going to pick up SotC today .
Heres my reason for calling sotc a turd.

I could possibly buy some of your reasons, but the score of 1 for sound is absurd....good job giving no credit to one of the best scores ever crafted for a video game.
hmm.. im a FF fan.. even though i was disappointed too at FF:XII.. i still recommend FF:XII.. but dont expect a lot if your a FF fan too.. btw, i havent tried SotC coz im really into RPG thing.. ^^,
edit: and this is VERY different compared to other FF games..(FF:XII this is "VERY" different.. ^^,
Yeahhh if your going to buy FF12 instead of Sotc, don't expect too much of it. You will experience a bad politics story and you woudn't care for the character's backroundstory except for balthier, hes the only one that makes the story interesting xD
FF12 isn't THAT bad, i mean the game is better than dark cloud or FF9 or CoN/DA, its just that the story and the gameplay WILL bore you.. i guarantee it.
