Assuming you meant trade in TOWARDS a PS3, I wouldn't bother. Get the 40 gig and keep your PS2. Save money, more games... joy!

I suggest you keep your PS2 because honestly the PS2 is the best console to have in terms awesome games. Anyway the store will only knock off £30 to £40(maybe less now) of your PS3 purchase if you do decide to exchange it meaning you still have to pay about £250
