yes its a great system i also think gc and xbox are about as great as it, ,, for other reasons,,, each of the 3 have their own games and own features that make them all great and right now the best ones are ps2/wii/dslite theres no other console not even ps3 that can offer as many games that ps2 has or wii has to offer and on the hand held front there is no other company that knows handhelds as good as nintendo 11 has tried and so far all 11 has failed this includes the psp the strongest of all other 10 competitors,,,
point is you should already have a ps2 if not go get one ,,, there is nothing well new except ps2 or wii if you can find one id get both lol cause the other 2 next gen consoles dont quite add up 1 is faulty the other just has no good or little good titles to choose from
i dont think paying 300 -400 for somthing thatll break within the next 6 months is quite worth it cause it gets addicting and youll end up paying or waiting for a new one in the mail isnt worth it
