I'm wondering if you have level up all you characters in the game or not. Is it best to level 3 characters or all them. Has anybody feel that they have a perfect file in this game.

I find it's best to level up all the charatcters, there are times when characters do tasks on their own or just in two's so you cant swap them out with another, if you havn't leveled up a certain character you may find it harder to complete. this is just my take on it others may say differently. Â
Level up all of you're characters until you beat the game. At this point, you should forget leveling most of your characters and focus on just three. Which three? I don't know, it's hard to decide. I ended up with tidus auron and wakka, but maybe it would be better to have tidus yuna and auron.

Final Fantasy X is the most AMAZING game i have ever played. Its my favourite and i know almost everything about it.
You should level up as many of your characters as possible, but if you want you can really focus on 2 or 3 of them and still do well. I focused mainly on Lulu and Yuna and almost maxed them out with their special weapons and I finished the game with ease.
I have leveled up all my characters. I have reprogrammed my sphere grid so that it has the best stats possible. I have gotten all of the celestial weapons, and 4 slot armour with Ribbon, Break HP Limit, Auto Haste and Auto Phoenix for all of my characters. I have beaten the whole game and everything in it including all of the Dark Aeons and Penance (I live in the UK so I have the PAL International version with the Dark Aeons and Penance, and to contradict an earlier statement, the Dark Aeons and Penance are all more difficult than Nemesis other than Dark Valefor). Also someone said earlier that the most they could take is 9999 with Kimahri, this is because you dont have his celestial weapon, or any weapon with Break Damage Limit.I guess I would consider that file pretty complete. I also have another two files with three characters powered up to this level, one with Yuna, Auron and Wakka, and one with Yuna, Tidus and Wakka. I would say that although it takes a hella-long time to do powering up your seven charactersand getting their armour and weapons, it is definitely worth it. If however, you dont want to be bothered doing this, having a party consisting of Yuna, Tidus and Wakka is the best to have at this powered up level. Yuna because of her Aeons ( most of which need a characters celestial weapon to be able to take over 9999), Wakka and Tidus because of their multi-hit Overdrives BlitzAce and Attack Reels. Attack Reels takes at most 12 times 99999 and BlitzAce which takes either 9 or 10 times 99999 at this powered up level. I hope this helps your decision. It is very worthwhile to complete the game to this level.
I'm a strong believer in leveling all characters that you have in a RPG and FFX is no exception. The trick is finding those places where you can get everybody leveled at a decent pace. Omega Ruins and the Arena are good places. Â
