I'm looking for a good FPS on the PS2. online play is not a factor, so i'm looking for one with a good single player.

I would recommend: Project Snowblind, Black, Timesplitters series, Killzone andRed Faction. I'm a huge fan of FPS on both PC and PS2.

It has to be XIII

its awsome and its got weird 3D cartoon graphix, also there are like loads of wepons and stuff and its a huge single player storey and the 2-player options are mint because there are different games modes like death matches, team death matches, capure the flag, the hunt ( which iswhere u chase after a small grim reaper thing that gets samller as u shoot him ).

plus when you fire a bazooker for example, there will be a big comic style BOOOOM that apears.

its a bit like a poor mans halo or if anyone who hates x-box but realy want to play halo, juat play XIII and you can get it brand new for under a tenner!!!

Red Faction had a very good single player but Timesplitters 2 had the best multiplayer.

I really liked Area 51 and Timesplitters: Future Perfect! Red Faction is good to but way to easy!

Definitely Timesplitters 2 & Future Perfect and maybe Killzone if you can overlook its flaws.

Black had the dumbest enemies ever.

I would say 007 Agent Under Fire

Timesplitters(any or all)are the way to go. Great single player story modes and ultra fun mini games. Great sense of humour. All round fun games.
