Unless she likes comics, she'll get bored of X-Men Legends. And the Champions series will bore the most hardcore fantasy fans - that game just lacks a compelling story. lotr is too hard for beginners.

How about Dynasty Warriors? Simple game, can be exciting taking out armies, large cast of characters and enough difference in them that if she doesn't like how one character playsshe can switch. Timesplitters 2 is fun, Hotshots (although it's not co-op). If she liked the Shrek movies, Shrek 2 can be fun.

My girlfreidns likes to play short and fast paced games, like fighting (she really likes Marvel Vs Capcom 2) or those simulation games, like Guitar Hero, DDR and all those eye toy games. I played Champions of Norrath with her and was a disaster. Same thing with Dark Alliance. I gave a shot on Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends and it was a bummer too. She's not really into anything that is longer than 2 minutes per stage...XD

Consider that when you choose!

I'd have to agree on this one, it's a great RPG and it's easy to get into.

I tried timesplitter and it was really a great game, hoever my GF didn't think so... But then we tried Legend of mana, a qute and easy to get into game, it wasnt the best RPG I've ever played but as a 2 player game I guess it was alright, and my GF liked it too...

hmm Timesplitters she didnt like? probably not into shooters...
well you could try Champions of Norrath and Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance, some hack and slashers.
there's also Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks.. pretty good beat-em-up.

She said I complained too much on her when we played timesplitters and she thought it was difficult to aim... But I'll try that Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks out, thanks.

I concur with all those and LotR 3. To add; Obscure is a very unique coop game. I played single player and hope to get my wife to play coop with me- I think it would be a lot of fun and a change of pace from shooters and hack'n'slashers.

lol you have to be patient with her. and yeah it is kind of hard to aim at first, especially for first-timers.

Obscure is a pretty good co-op title. Its a decent survival horor title, which is made better by allowing someone else to jump in and control one of the other characters.

Don't know, only ever played the original, which was reasonably easy if you know what you are doing.

*sighs* That's how my gf is. But yeah, anywhere along the fighting theme should be ok.

I've heard much abut the Champions-games, I should probably try them out...

The Warriors? Haven't heard anyone mention that before as a good co-op game, is it?
