I think you guys played the crash games as little kids and now that you have grown up and started playing better games you are just realizing for the first time how much Crash games sucked to begin with. Go back and play the old ones, see what happens.
i hope you know as im writing this im playin crash bandicoot 2 cortex strikes back and im having fun even thought this is my... i dont know i lost count how many times i've played this game. i'm still not bored.
Yeah, Crash aswell as Spyro didn't make smooth transition between consoles. I used to be big into Spyro/ Crash games but when I tried them out for PS2, well I wasn't impressed.

Try again. Sony dropped both Crash Bandicoot and Spyro after the PS1 to PS2 transition. Notice how all Crash and Spyro games appear on multi consoles and how they no longer are published by Sony and developed by Naughty Dog/Insomniac.

That's a distinct possibility. I know I used to, and I've never played them since, so it's possible.
Naughty Dog washed their hands of Crash Bandicoot after CTR.
Crash Bandicoot: the Wrath of Cortex wasn't too bad. I think the only new crash game beyond that which has potential is probably TwinSanity. I always wanted to get this game, it looked like a neat concept.
