You could move to Minnesota and watch the retards in power piss and moan over the budget to a point where they couldn't agree and then cause a Government shutdown. It lasted 2 or 3 weeks. Majority of government employees were not paid, except for the lawmakers that caused the problem.
I heard that roughly 1/3 of them actually refused pay until things were straightened out, so not all of them are bad. It's just irritating as hell for dumb things like that to cause such problems. Hopefully the retards in charge in your state get their heads out of their backsides and let the issue pass.
