I'm not looking to buy a gaming PC. I received GTA IV as a gift, but my current laptop can't run it. I'm looking for a decent desktop. Since I'm on a budget, this one looks decent. But could it play GTA IV? http://www.walmart.com/ip/desktop-computers/15737682

Maybe at lowest settings with low framerates. GTA IV is one of the worst ports, even my PC struggles to run it at 1440x900.

You'll need a decent gaming computer in order to run GTA IV smoothly. It's a terrble port because its very resource demanding, even more so than crysis.

Weird, i can run it on high at that resolution and it's playable. And i find it odd that our 460's have the same amount of overclock lol. Back on topic, no that wont be able to run the game.

At near highest settings, I get 21-46 fps, which isn't good enough.

Unless you get a decent gpu, forget about running it.
