I currently have a business laptop that cannot run WofW. I want to buy a PC or Mac to play. What are the minimum requirements? Or do you have a reommendation for a particular PC or Mac? Since I am only using it for gaming, I don't want to spend much $. Thanks.....

I would say check www.worldofwarcraft.com and look at the system specs there. However, I would go a notch above everything they list because in my experience their requirements make it barely playable on minimum settings. But graphically its a fairly simple game so it should run on most new PCs these days.

Any decent gaming laptop could run World of Warcraft without a hitch. You could probably pick one up for about $700.

the specs are very low for WoW my laptop which has a crappy graphics card can play it really nicely(the trial should be the same as the regular game) for reccomended settings the graphics card required needs only 64mb graphics card.

"Since I am only using it for gaming, I don't want to spend much $." There is a serious flaw in that logic. Gaming PC's are typically far more expensive than ones for business or net usage. There is a reason gaming video cards are usually 300+ and ones common for business are 50 bucks or less (talking towers, not laptops). I have a 500 buck laptop that will "technically" play wow, but

edit: wow, it cut off my post.....

basically, 700+ laptop with dedicated gpu will play it well

500+ custom build computer will play it well

Anything less, and you will get frames less than 10 per second in major cities or during raids, which is unacceptable.
