Wireless xbox 360 reciever for windows help

Iv wanted to get a wireless reciever for my computer for awhile now. But about 3 months ago most of them were not compatible with windows 8. Is that still the case now? If not could someone help me find one. Thanks.

i use this one. works like a charm and can support multiple controllers. it comes with a cd to install but it's not needed. just plug in and your computer will download it. i have windows 8 too. ive been using it since august with no problems.

I've had no issues with these devices and Win 8. You are fine...go ahead and do it already.
