which guild wars campain should i buy?

original,factions,nightfall which one

im looking for: good PvP and PvE and whichever one has the most player online 24/7

NF then EOTN, and whatever chapters you may want/need.

the first one has the best story and is the most fun to play but im not sure how many many people are playing it at the moment. Just dont get factions i nearly gave up on the guild wars series after i played that one.

well w/ guild wars don't really expect people on PvE 24/7. You're likely to see a few people on at odd hours but don't count on it.

Prophecies (aka Guild Wars) - the first one has alot of PvE stuff to do

Factions - Alliance Battles PvP is pretty fun, Ritualist/Assassin's professions,

Nightfall - heros makes PvE a bit easier, but it's lacking PvE groups due to this, Also Dervish/Paragon professions.

Each one has it's own skills and if you're going to play the game competitively then you'll want all 3. You can find all of them for $30 if you shop around just buy em as they drop since the order doesn't really matter. All 3 should be able to keep you occupied for 6 months at least. Also if you get a bit burned out you can lay off for awhile and then comeback.
