I got my gaming laptop at newegg.com for $999.99 and its my favorite laptop yet. I have owned the Asus g73jh and i will never buy an Asus laptop again, i have owned 5 of them. MSI my friend is quality , trust me if you get the version i got it you will love it and its a beast too will play any game on very high. The laptop is overclockable with one button, has an extra cool button where the fans run in turbo mode, awesome LED's everywhere , beastly video card Nvidia 285 GTX and a Core i7 CPU, i got 15829 points in 3Dmark06.

Damn i just noticed its $1200 but its still worth it man and its $500 bucks off right now, read the reviews on it everyone is praising it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152203&Tpk=msi%20gt660

I'm currently looking at this one. It's a bit big for a 15.6" but it's got a great processor and a 1080 screen. The graphics card isn't great, but it should play most of the games out right now on high.

I have a laptop very similar to that. It's the N53JQ. The N series is a great series with quality parts, though the keyboard isn't all that great.

Thats a really good price for the specs. I think it would be hard to find a better deal for a gaming laptop of that calibar. I would have gotten the G series myself but I think they look like tanks.

Yeah, that's what I've heard; it's quite a value for the specs it has. I've been considering getting the N53SV for college next semester but I've heard it's quite a big laptop, would you recommend it for college use? The N43 is another option, but I find 14" screens to be a bit small.

Sorry for the late reponse. Yeah the N series is really big for a 15.6 inch notebook. It's about the size of a 17 inch notebook.

No problem lol. If you were to pick between the 14" or 15.6" for college which would you pick?

Nothing can beat ACER ASPIRE 7740G-6364. I have it for a more than a year now. Im sure there are better versions but this one doesn't disappoint. I'm gaming on my 37"LCDTV thru HDMI with Xbox gamepad for some games. No problems at all
