Came across a funny website showing some prankers who tricked Rockstar into releasing a little info on GTA IV PC. Not sure how true it is, but it still keeps my hopes pretty high.

If anything, it is a funny read. Hopefully, these guys are onto something here... ;)

Rockstar look like they have pretty helpful tech support.

It's nice to see.

The problem is that almost always the tech support team doesn't know either about such kind of information (I'm saying that when they have responded, they didn't know something about the existence of the PC version). That means they've done one of the following three things:

1)They assumed like us that there will be indeed a PC version in the future, and acted accordingly.

2)They followed the regular procedure in the cases of "what if". They're obliged to do so.

3)The scammed scammed the scammers.

Pranked Rockstar? Tricked Rockstar? Ok first of all, the person didn't even contact Rockstar, looks like he sent in a tech question to Take2. As previously mentioned, the people answering the tech questions wouldn't have a clue what Rockstars plans were. Overall they didn't accomplish anything at all.

Either way, everybody knows there is going to be a PC version of GTAIV, nobody knows when. If Rockstar decided to skip the PC this time around they would have announced it, blaming piracy or something else is pretty popular these days. It's coming out, most likely mid or end of 2009.

Take 2 is Rockstar. And he did mention that he thought he contacted Rockstar, but Take 2 replied back that Take 2 is Rockstar, which is technically correct. And I think we all know that GTA IV is coming to PC, but with nothing official out there, it helps to have a little something reassuring. :D

I don't believe it. Source is beyond weak.
