Try 192.168.0.1. Do you remember changing the default router IP address?

Start -> Run -> Type in "cmd"

From the command prompt type "ipconfig"

The number next to "default gateway" is the address you need to access your router.

The default address of the router should be listed in the documentation. If it is not do a google search for "ROUTER NAME default ip address." If you can't find it through that route, provide the brand and model number and someone will do it for you. If you have changed the address and cannot remember it, resetting the router (it is a router and not a hub, correct?) may be helpful. This is usually done by holding in the reset button for thirty seconds (this will vary for different routers). Edit: Doing what D9-THC said will work too. :)

then you will MANUALLY need to set your computer ip to 192.168.1.2 in command prompt type 'arp -a' and you should be able to see your routers adderss listed. it won't be obvious... but it should be there.

If you've configured your computer to connect through a proxy, make sure it bypasses it for addresses such as 192.168.*, 127.0.0.1, localhost, etc.
