ummm from what you guys have heard about reqs for spore, should i be able to run spore on my specs

intel p4 2.4ghz

756mb ram

nvidia fx 5200 128mb

if i could run spore on even slow then imma forget about saving up for a new pc and buy a 360instead... because really only games that id play on a new pc are spore, crysis, and black & white 2

No worries, you'll probably have more than enough time to upgrade before it comes out. It's clear that they're going to take their time to get it right.

System requirements shouldn't be that high and yes you have more than enough time to save money and upgrade. So looking forward to this game, I remember seeing one demo where will wright made a 'care bear' creature with a really agressive carnivor personality.

A new PC would be nice, but i think you'll be able to play it. Remember, the earliest videos shaown about Spore were a few years ago on a laptop - not a high-end gaming machine (for its time).

I think WW stated that system requirements would be around the same as The Sims 2, so if you can run that (check srtest.com) you should be OK I would think.
I'm not 100% sure though.
