Wow that is just about top-of-the-line everything. We're gonna need some pics when all the boxes come in, and then some more for the actual build.

Why not bump the RAM speed up? Everything else is on the insane-performance side of the spectrum. There is some DDR4 3200 available.

Might even consider bumping up the PSU since they are usually most efficient around ~60% load

Also: If you don't already have any, get some NVMe SSds and put them in RAID 0.

Have fun. Don't forget the pics.

I have been thinking of getting some NVMe SSD's I do already have 2tb 2.5in SSD that I bought last year. I will definitely do the ram now that you said that. It might be a while before I am able to do it like a couple months or so maybe but I will definitely will post pics of it and the build as I do it! This is going to be a hard wait that's for sure especially for me!

@General_Lee45: I hope you're aiming for editing with that CPU, that RAM amount and those 2x Titan X Pascals

The 240 AC is great cooler but the single 120 performance is almost identical.

Also if you wish to have the best CPU water cooling you should look at Corsair H110i GTX

I noticed that they do have a Corsair H110i GTX that is 280mm would that be any better then the 240mm version?

Mind as well go for 1000w to brag to your amigos. Sick looking build so far.
If you like lighting than definitely get thermaltake rgb fan set. I also heard good things about swiftech water coolers.

I just ordered 3 Samsung UE590 Series U28E590D ‑ 28" UHD LED Monitors for this beast so I can fully utilize the 3840 x 2160 UHD 4k Resolution! They were on sale really cheap for 249.99 and I could resist because they were such a good value!

@General_Lee45: Crazy specs. I would have scaled back on the GPUs and CPU as they are way overpriced. However, if you comfortable with it, more power to you. The rig is going to be a beast.

I was willing to spend the money and it has been a dream of mine to build extreme edition pc like this for a long time since my very first build in 2007 and I have built about 5 computers since then if not more! Now I just need to learn how to overclock this beast because it is currently running at 20 degrees Celsius on idle with corsair h115i 280mm cooler with the paste that is on it so I know I can definitely overclock it with this cooler!

@General_Lee45: You should get a good OC provided that you lucked out in the silicon lottery.

Just a heads up Garrett... You may want to delete that last pic that has your address on the box. You have a valuable PC and you are advertising where you live. There may be some shady people that will look to take advantage of that.

It is still in your profile images. You should delete it from there and it will be gone.

CPU is unnecessary, you could save a lot of money with getting a cheaper I7 like a 6800k.. And I think going for closed loop water cooled 1080s would be far better.. Be they the MSI seahawks, or the EVGA hydro versions.. Also not a fan of that case what so ever.. Corsair 400c, NZXT h440, Phantek Evolv ATX in my mind are all great choices..

You could get better gaming performance from a higher clocked Quad Core. That CPU is a total waste of money. Even doing "professional" stuff you could get a dual xeon setup for less cost... even then Xeon threads are not that much slower so even for gaming you may only loose 3-5fps comparatively speaking so that would be the best bet for a work/gaming compromise.

Not to be a kill joy; but that CPU is totally not worth the money.

^^ Agreeing with the chap above, not saying the CPU he mentions is a waste of money!

................ This is assuming that he was doing it for other than gaming, hence why he was going for a i7 to begin with.. I agree a i5 6600k is more than enough.

@General_Lee45: I personally think the two Titans and the i7 CPU is a bit overkill, let me explain:

One of the best CPUs for gaming is an i5-6600K, it will let you run anything, but also remember that these days games or more GPU than CPU based. In addition, Once you start going past an i5-6600K, you start getting severely diminished CPU performance increases and your price to power ratio starts plummeting.

In terms of two GPUs, that has always been extremely gimmicky and again you will see a very bad price to power ratio (Buying two GPUs will NEVER justify the cost in terms of performance).

All and all it is a solid build, but realistically, there is no reason to go higher than an i5-6600k and there is no reason to ever go dual GPUs because its not very practical and it is usually more for bragging rights.
