The Best FPS for pc?

OK so I am about to spend a lot of money on a PC, and I play WOW, but I want a good First Person Shooter that everyone plays. I love Team Fortress but I love Call of Duty 4. and I been told that everyone plays Battlefield 2 soooooooo.... I would like so feedback.

I guess you mean multiplayer FPS. Too bad. I have System Shock 2 in my clipboard permanently for threads just like this.

Team Fortress 2 gets my vote.

From the looks of things you want a multiplayer FPS right?... well look no furthar than CSS or you could get COD4 or the Orange Box.

But honestly CS is superior to any non-vehicle FPS MP game ever made.

I've been playing CS for 7 years, got bored of COD4 when I got the 50cal... what do you think?

yes

If you want modern war then COD4 is great still.

Sci Fi with vehicles BF2142 or Enemy Territory Quake Wars.

Team Based until the end with lots and lots of tactical action then Rainbow Six Vegas (1 or 2).

Oh yeah, he's right. The Thief games, especially Thief 2. Man, those were good.

CoD4, Crysis and BioShock are the 3 I'd recommend.is0lati0n

Agreed, Bioshock is pretty awesome too, but it's a rather strange game... or at least it seemed that way to me until I played it longer and started to get into it.

I thought Doom 3 was really good, although some people might say it was overrated.

Get the Orange Box.

CSS is the best multiplayer shooter, while I'd say COD4 is the best singleplayer.
