So at my local store Splinter Cell Conviction is being sold really cheap but I dont know if it runs well on my computer. In the site systemrequirementslab it says my PC fails only because of the CPU even though it asks for a CPU with lower GHz than mine. Everything else, GPU, RAM, etc, is above the minimum requirements

My CPU is a Pentium Dual-Core CPU T4200 @ 2.00GHz and its asks for a 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or 2.4 GHz AMD Athlon X2 64

So, do you think it still can run it just fine or should I just dont bother?

thx in advance

From what I remember it was a bad game and a bad port.

I wouldn't bother.

So many wannabe techs around here. You are running the game on a laptop. Even tough your processor meets the minimum requirements for that game, its a laptop processor, therefore it does not compare to a desktop processor that is clocked at the same speed. If you are able to run it, it will run like garbage.

Ok guys. I bought the game and it runs ok. Its not a bad game at all, though the graphics are a tad disappointing. Alan Wake even on low looked way better and the resolution options are null. Other than that, it runs fine.

so thanks for your help

I know I'm to late to tell you that there seems to be a demo of that game. Next time you're unsure if a game will run or not you can try finding a demo for it. (though not a lot of games have them anymore lately)

It was alright, I bought the game for $5 awhile back it was worth a playthrough. I never tried out multiplayer although I doubt there's any real community for it.

Such a wannabe tech yourself, the game will run fine, proof above this comment.
