now i gotta ask this one

when did the chest where you keep the stuff you cant carry became something you pay EXTRA money for (borderlands, dragon age...)? for one its a basic requirment, and second - its a goddamn 5 minutes work for a programmer

They should be included with the standard game In so many RPGs you find items that are either too high level for you or would be ideal on another character, so you need something like the stash box to store it until you can transfer it or use it. Diablo 2 had one as standard, as does Torchlight with the added ability to have one that is shared between characters to let you move items between them. Borderlands severely restricts your inventory size and unless you want to make loads of return trips, or constantly sort through items you could really do with a stash box to put decent weapons aside. My soldier has found plenty of artefacts and great items suitable for other characters, but nowhere to store them, so they get sold.
