It is not a movie, it is a sure clear sign that my graphics card may need to be upgraded soon.

This game will never deliver to the hype it has generated, but I hope at least it's fun for the fans.

I hope this is the single player part of the game. I know its an ad for the ship but still.

There is going to be so much stuff added in v0.9. Racing (which looks like fantastic fun), Vanduul Co-op, 6DOF, doubled speeds, updated hangars, M50, tons of other fixes and improvements. Can't wait!

@howlrunner13: Yeah im looking forward to v0.9 too. Is there an ETA for that?

Current plans are about two weeks. 27th or so. But as always there is the chance for delays.

I kind of agree. I think it's going to be amazing but the best course of action is to forget that exists for a while.

graphics look nice on everything but the characters....

however, this game is never going to deliver on all the hype. its impossible, and GAMEPLAY videos recently have been underwhelming at best.

Indeed ...the more trailers I watch, the less interested I become in this game and less willing I end up to spend any for it.

Not following due to been let down so many times lol. Same with Elite D not been bothered about that but looking forward to it and not watched too many trailers and that be out of beta soon hopefully.

For everyone that can't wait for this awesome game, i suggest trying elite dangerous, even in Beta its already a hell lot of fun and in some ways a bit different to star citizen, but mostly its already playable and not much missing.

Its nice to finally start seeing more than just the ships we should see it really start taking shape by the end of the year

I have $120 on this game and i have followed it a lot and i have no doubt in my mind this will be delayed,probably by quite a bit,but i do not care, the level of detail they are going for is commendable but risky so i am only too happy to allow them time to get it right,i would rather get it late and great, than early and crap :)

That is the whole point of the dog fighting alpha,the best way to refine something is to get it into many peoples hands and find the best solution from all the feedback,and we will be seeing the first result of that in the 0.9 update in a few weeks,I have noticed recently that the game is getting to the point now where things are starting to come together from all the different teams,it has all revolved around the ships, hanger and dogfighting for so long that it was easy to forget all the other things that make up the game,but after seeing the 0.9 update and some planetside stuff aswell as the tease for the fps sections of the game coming to PAX soon,its getting to the point in development i have been waiting for,by the end of the year we should finally start seeing the game getting a bit closer to what has been talked about for so long.

As always, cautiously optimistic.
