Square Enix registers finalfantasyviipc.com domain.possible pc release on steam?

someone on neogaf mentions that ff7 and ff8 were in steams registry awhile so this could be good news.always want to play a final fantasy game to see whats all the fuss is about. and i hope square will put future final fantasy games on the pc(starting with vs13)

There's already a PC version of VII and VIII, so I see no reason why not to put them on Steam and/or GOG.

unfortunately you can only buy second hand now and some of the prices were ridicoulous last time i checked, thats why it will be great if they release it in gog and steam

Wait, there are only retail only copy of the games?>

There's already a PC version of VII and VIII, so I see no reason why not to put them on Steam and/or GOG.

Well...yea. They were released when the whole idea of digital distribution wasn't even around. They aren't remakes or anything, they're just the normal games...but PC versions.

I would personally love to see the FF series expand, properly, into the PC market by releasing their single player games on the PC with the MMO feel afterwards, or just do something similar to Diablo, in that you can have friends run with you on quests. I don't see what's so wrong with that.

I would love to have FF7 and 8 on my steam list. I can see SE totally working on porting the games to PC with new patches and such, I mean they need more reasons to not work on FF13 Versus lol.
