i bought the game last monday, the game didnt install, an error message popped up, the message that popped up is below this sentance

I bought the game from the Game store, its from the SoldOut software selection. It says it compatable for Windows 98, XP and Vista. Everygame game i have has worked for every version, even if it shouldnt work on it. Anyway i sent the game back, replaced with a new onethinking it was faulty, but even the new 2nd disc hasthe very same message pop up. Does this Soldout Software Selection always cause problems. I heard the game was great, and it was only £4.99. I dont know what the MSDN or Msi.chm is, i did come across something on the computer to sort it out, but again nothing works. Does anyone else with the same game, version have the same problem i have? Thanks =]
