No way. I made a computer for 1137$ and it was much better then yours. Or atleast thats what i think. ALthough if you want to you can change your graphic card and you are good to go. A GT9800, GT8800, 4850, 4870, Gtx 280, or a 260. They are all good. I recommend a 8800 as it a great card and it can play games Mid-High even though its an 2Yr old card. Good Luck

Looks good, about same price as newegg, If I were you I would I would cut down on the Hard drive and ram and get a better video card. The 9600 gt is still good by today's standards but it wont last long. Get at least a 4850/9800gtx with that rig. Right now its really unbalance, powerfull CPU paired with a mediocre graphics card. Also if you want to save even more, get a generic keyboard or mouse. (Not sure how much the MS ones are)

Not really, I looked up all the parts on Newegg and its about the same. It might look overpriced cause he included OS, Kb/Mouse, 1tb drive.

Not really, for around the same price as that video card get either the 9800gtx+ or HD4850, both will be much better.

Also the PSU is basically generic rubbish, the corsair VX 550W is a good choice for your system. Alternatively a similar PSU for other reputable brands such as antec, thermaltake would be fine.

Personally I would get 2 500gb hard drives instead, other than that the rest of the system looks good.

The store im buying it from didnt have that PSU when I called. He said for my computer, he recommends the 550W Cooler Master Extreme Power

He said alot of his clients purchased it and never had any problems...Would this do?
