Absolutely NOT, its not that good compared to the other C&C games. The first two red alert games were much better. Just stick with tiberium wars and kanes wrath, they are actual decent C&C games done by EA.
i got it but i would have to say i was kinda dissapointed by it. i liked C&C3 better on 360, than RA3 on pc. but ill be getting C&C3 soon anyway. only one i dont have.
This is pretty funny. Half of these posts say it's garbage and the others say its better than C&C3. I can't say, I haven't played it. But I think a lot of it has to do with the setting. I think some people just don't care for the silliness of the game. I can't imagine the actual gameplay is REALLY that much worse than C&C3...
great game. it features interesting and balanced factions as well as versatile units that allow a wide variety of tactics. fantastic both on and offline.

Nobody that hates it can do such a thing, because most hate it for the graphics and story, I mean to go as far as to compare it with MGS? As for gameplay "features" that people hate: - the way you mine for ore - the lack of atomic technology (missiles and trucks)

i played RA2 and really enjoyed it. in fact, its one of the most games i ever played. RA3 on the other hand, it just has nothing to do with the series at all. the music, the atmosphere, the units, the gameplay, they were all different.

Coming from someone playing MW2... man I am big fan of CNC Games but its shame to compare Westwood Piece of art (RE & RE 2 ) to EALA Children Version of Red alert . yeah MW 2 has one of the most silly Plots I've ever seen but the MP is solid and nice but please never compare any C&C game with RE 3 ( I think its just the Black sheep of the family

im not hating on it, i own it, its just definately not my favorite out of the C&C games...
i prefer the more serious of stories with the C&C tiberium saga.
Red Alert 3 is a solid gem during the campaign, but online is basically a rush to build a fleet of bombers and faceroll your opponent. I would say it is definitely worth a purchase. Nothing cooler than seeing a bunch of japanese soldiers shoot laser guns at people and then charge them with electroswords.
