Hi, I just installed Shadowrun, but whenever I try run it I get this

Does anyone know how to solve this? I've Tried reinstalling already

Anyways, that was my only guess: that you were trying to run the game in XP. But, since you're using Vista, I have no idea what's going on...sorry.
The Xbox Live program that installed from your disc may be old as that was one of the first live pc games. Get the updated Live redistributable and see if that works

I had the exact same problem. For whatever reason Shadowrun won't pull down the latest auto-update for some of us.
Download this and just install it:

hey so i called microsoft and after 3 hours one of the people out of the country helped me they just told me to update it from this link.
im going to all the forums with this problem to help.

use the above.
In the directory that Shadowrun is installed in. Find Xlive.dll. You now have a couple options, one is to add a .* to the end (I did .deleted), rename it, move it to another directory, or flatout delete it. After this the program should rebuild it using the installed XLive and let you play. Also works if you're on Vista and the game keep shutting down after a few moments of running.
