Go on newegg. Select 4tb HDDs and select the highest rated. Pick the top one and there ya go! as for how to set up hdds, that my friend is what google is for. plenty of guides out there. although if you run into any problems or questions feel free to ask.

But 4tb are overpriced currently...you can get a 3tb for ~120$ and it would costs you more than the double to get the extra tb

maybe this, this has the most review. 4tb is overpriced, you can practically grab 2x3 for the price of one 4tb.

Unless you have a laptop, why not just get another 1TB and add it in?

i dont wanna have to worry about space for a while! especially with all the games taking up more space nowadays... i think max payne 3 took over 30gbs!!! i know i could just delete em but id rather have em ready for when i feel like playing or when friends come and they wanna play a certain game

I have a couple of these.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148844
I got one 9 months ago for $140ish and just picked up one for $90 on Black Friday. They are the two fastest hard drives I have (slower than my SSD) and I have not had any problems with them.

It is going to be more trouble than it is worth transferring the data. Keep everything you have on your current drive on your current drive and just add a second one (it doesn't have to be 1TB)

Don't use a 3tb drive for your OS drive, get a SSD. The seagate 3tb hd is the fastest in its price range. There is a big drawback, 1 year of warranty. What a joke.

I will be installing my OS on the 3TB HDD. SSD drives aren't worth the asking price. Also it is only a big drawback if your HDD actually goes out. Not much of a drawback if your HDD last 8 years now is it.

Unless there is something wrong with your current hard drive just add the second. You can move all your games there if you want. I'm running a 1TB primary with a 640GB for my games (640GB is nearly full though)

just because something is expensive doesn't mean it's not worth the price. using an SSD as your boot drive will be a very good investment.
