rainbow six las vegas 2 error installing patch

hi.

i want to play coop with my brother. but he has a newer patch (1.03) and i have 1.00.59.

so i try to install the patch but then i get an error that says this:

could not retrive the version number. instalation aborted.

please help

Try patching by increments, starting by

1. v101
2. v102
3. v103
