I have a pc-game called "E.T. The extra terrestrial - the 20th anniversary".

The problem is that it only have french, german and netherlands sound. I want it to have english sound.

Does anybody have the game in english and could send me the english sound files or tell me how to get them?

I once bought a copy of Medal of Honor Pacific Assault while taking a vacation in Thailand. Turns out, the game was all in Thai, even the manual, so I had to do... stuff.

So yeah, you should get the English sound files and scripts.

Even if you own the game I don't believe you can just download any other version from "other" sites. When you buy a game, you buy the license to play that edition. I might be wrong.... As for the topic, why o why are u playing that game...???

Given the history of ET and video games I doubt its worth the trouble... Lol And even if he wanted to umm acquire it, finding it will likely be a problem.

Remember it is still illegal to upload the game to other people, downloading from peer to peer programs requires you to upload to other people as well. Also if the game has any sort of copy protection then it is illegal under the Digital Millennium Copyright act to circumvent access controls or any copy protection on that software. Even if you own the game you will likely still end up breaking the law one way or another if you download it.

People on thse forums should not be advising anyone to download a game, it can still get them into trouble weather they already own it or not.

Wasn't that the game that was so bad they recalled all the copies and destroyed them and buried the remains in a desert?

Yep...

That was the Atari 2600 one, also widely credited to be the cause of a big part of the first video game crash...
