Theoretical question here.

So if in a year or two when my graphics card is struggling i can throw in another one and have two in SLI mode and it will play the game on high settings?

How much better is SLI to having a single card approx?

Also is crossfire as good or better than SLI?

depends on what card you have

if you have a 8800640MB, and you put another one in in 2 years, yes you iwll be able to do that

It's better to buy a new video card than to waste your money on SLI.

SLI does not double performance.
