I have a 26" older lcd tv currently connected to ps3 via components. I have 2 bookshelf speakers and need a receiver. I want a simple stereo but looked at them and they have no digital inputs or opticals. so i figured i would hook up my component rgb wires to the tv and the audio wires to the receiver but ofcourse the wires are all to close to reach to both....so does anyone know how i can hook up ps3 to stereo thru my tv.

tv has 2 comp inputs, 1 dvi, 2 analog inputs (rwy wires), 1 analog output

thanks for the help!

I would keep your components hooked to your television, and just run a pair of RCA cables from the audio out on your TV to your stereo receiver. That way you can run anything that you hook into your TV to your receiver (cable, other consoles, etc)
