Nothing just vaporware, all vids released in the past 5 years have been tech demos

I highly doubt that's ingame.

What is the point of releasing pre-rendered trailers? I have never, ever understood this. They're games, I want some gameplay footage dammit! Smaller devs seem to understand this a lot better than huge devs, or maybe they just don't have the resources and time to do pre-rendered trailers and instead focus on the making the, you know, actual game.

Actually the videos on the website are rendered in the engine in real time, but from what I understand there aren't any other scripts running. So a final version probably wouldn't look quite so polished, but could possibly look damn close considering this game won't be seen in the near future.

Even after all these years (4?), the characters models and animation is still far ahead of anything I've seen in games. Wil this thing ever become a game instead of a tech demo?

Thats the problem I have with this, they just release a tech demo every few years. No talk of any game using their engine.
