Mine is a Toshiba Satellite L455D-S5976 with the Following Specs

Windows 7 Home Premium x32

AMD Semperon SI-42 @2.1GHz

2gb DDR2

250gb HDD

ATI Mobility Radeon 3100 256mb

I got it last last holiday season for about $250 because my previous laptop was on its last legs. Day to day performance is fine for the most part but it does get pretty choppy at times, most games are a big no no to but I can't really complain seeing as how I got it cheaper than most netbooks.

HP Touchsmart tm2t Convertible Tablet Notebook PC Windows Home Premium x64 Core i5 @ 1.2 Ghz 4GB DDR 2 64 GB Kingston SSD ATI Mobility Radeon 5450 Got it for a bit under $800 after coupon and student discount. One of the best purchases i've ever made. Works great for school, especially math course, due to its Wacom pen digitizer. The touch screen is very useful for doing quick tasks in a pinch while in tablet mode. I've been techy for many, many years, but this has been my first laptop purchase. I had always avoided buying laptops due to their quick obsolescence and my constant desire for more power. But the convertible, touch, and pen aspects of this laptop are likely to never be behid the curve for many years to come. It'll always be useful as a note taking device.

Lol OK. Nothing impressive but here we go :P

HP G62

Athlon II X2 P320 CPU @ 2.1 Ghz
4GB DDR3 RAM (2x2GB)
M880G chipset with HD 4250 GPU
320GB 7200 rpm HDD
12-cell 8800mAh battery
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

15.6" screen (1366x768 )

It does everything I want it to do well. Playing some older & lightweight games, web browsing and research, web video (youtube mostly), word processing, watching HD movies on TV (HDMI), and listening to music. The CPU is very nice and energy efficient for a dual-core laptop CPU (25W TDP and less than 1v unless heavy load).

Edit: here it is; http://h20386.www2.hp.com/CanadaStore/Product.aspx?pdetail=P107046&pid=C289375&

Obviously I upgraded the battery and RAM.

I was an Idiot for choosing a lappy with a single core and a low clocked one at that. I figured it wouldn't hinder me for daily tasks like Web Browsing and the occasional movie but boy was a wrong :P. Its also nearly impossible to have more than 4 things open at once, Chrome, iTunes, Steam and another miscellaneous program is about all it can take. Youtube and Hulu are also difficult to run at times. Oh well. As soon as I can get back to work again, I'm gonna pick me up a good 13 inch laptop.

HP dm1:

AMD E-350 APU (2x1.6Ghz Bobcat cores, HD6310 graphics)
4GB RAM
640GB HDD
11.6" 1366x768 display
Windows 7 x64

Not exactly a gaming powerhouse, but it's a beastly netbook-type ultraportable (7+ hours real-world battery life) while still providing reasonable performance and that HDD makes it a great portable media centre.

I almost bought one of those but decided to upgrade my battery instead. I now get 6-7 hours out of my laptop however my battery alone probably weighs as much as the dm1 itself

Hows the CPU performance for a 1.6GHz Dual Core?

it's quite impressive. My sister bought a laptop with E-350 and I had to configure it. Obviously I played around with it a little as well. It was much snappier than I expected. I had Firefox 5 & itunes running while other programs were installing and the slowdown wasn't that bad. It also runs super cool. I don't think that I felt any heat coming out of the vent the entire time and couldn't hear the fan at all!

I found these benchmarks interesting: http://hothardware.com/Reviews/AMD-Zacate-E350-Processor-Performance-Preview/?page=1

It's pretty much the bare minimum of what a netbook-type CPU should be capable of: the ability to run your usual web browser+media player+productivity software and not have to worry about hangs or excessive load times (although installing can be a *****). Maybe a touch slow for everyday use (but then again my desktop has a 2500k, so my idea of everyday use is probably different from most users), but great for any sort of netbook/cheap ultraportable form factor or mini-ITX nettop/HTPC.

HP EliteBook 2730p. -Intel Core 2 Duo SL9400 (1.86 GHz, can be overclocked slightly to 2.13 GHz with a modded BIOS and ThrottleStop in dual IDA mode) -ADATA 4 GB (2*2 GB) DDR2-800 -Intel GMA 4500MHD -Intel X18-M G1 80 GB SSD -12" 1280x800 BOE Hydis AFFS+ LCD, Wacom Penabled -Intel Wi-Fi Link 5100 -HP un2400 3G modem -Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Compact, portable, and responsive for all that I do with it (general computing, note-taking, and just about anything that isn't GPU-intensive gaming). It also lasts a whopping NINE HOURS with the main battery and optional slice battery combined. Given that I got this system, an expansion base, and a docking station for hardly over $600 total (shipping included), I'd say it's quite a steal, especially factoring in the SSD and the LCD used (it's the best that any 2730p can have, and it's harder to get in the later 2740p and 2760p). The only real complaints I could have would be lack of finger touch (not introduced 'til the 2740p), which is not a feature I'd pay several extra hundred dollars for, and the usual complaint I have with every convertible Tablet PC that isn't the Fujitsu T901 with the NVIDIA NVS 4200M option: no good dedicated graphics options! (Maybe that'll change if Thunderbolt becomes a viable external graphics card interface. It's currently possible to do so with the ExpressCard slot, but with crippled PCIe x1 bandwidth.)

Mine should be arriving next Tuesday!

It's an HP DV6t Quad Edition

Core i7 2630m (2.0 Ghz quad core)

HD 6770m GPU - should play games pretty well

15.6" 1080p antiglare screen - I was so excited when they added this option.

I can't wait to get it and see how it plays games. I have a desktop too, and I mainly got this for writing and level design in UDK on the go, but I'll definitely be playing some games on it.

California become Toronto, from where the uncle of any pal lived. Using a mutual good friend, he met a Peruvian woman, Anna, whom he quickly married. They started children portrait, and Juan took on several jobs, displaying a piece ethic that his son later would discover.jerseysfromchin

Haha, Im not exactly sure how the loose hinge syndrom would look, but if I lift the shell by half an inch it would fall backdown. So far is still holding up decently, but Im still warry of whats to happen. I guess worse comes worse Ill call warranty or jerry rig fix my self.
