Last time I tried to play PS2 games on my old 32" LCD TV, the input lag was unbearable. It was at the point where I would hit a button and I felt like the result of it came a second later. How would a Plasma TV (Panasonic 42" Viera G10) handle the job? Is it still going to lag? What if I upscale it through my A/V Onkyo SR607 receiver? Would that help? I'm using component cables.

The G10 will have absolutely no lag what-so-ever. Just trust me on this.

I can't trust you on this because it's not possible. All non-CRTs will have lag when upscaling 480i content.

They all have Game Mode's which turn off as much software processing as possible. Panasonic LCD's/plasma's are apparently excellent in terms of low input lag compared to the likes of Sony and Samsung. There's probably a review of that Viera on HDTVTest.co.uk. There will definitely be feedback on AVForums.

Plasma's will definitely not have any lag as you have experienced.

Might as well try, but if the TV has inherent motion lag, this will not bypass it.
