So I have an EVGA 8800GT and recently purchased the AKIMBO Cooler. But whenever I overclock in my nTune, after a reboot, it goes back to stock settings. Everytime I turn on my PC I have to go into nTune and adjust it again. Can anyone give advice?

Use the Rivatuner 2.08 or what ever and you can save what ever settings you want and when you turn your pc on the setting will still be the same.

At least this is what I use and it works just fine for me. I have a similar gpu to that but mine is the superclocked 512mb one not the normal one.

My advice is never use ntune, install rivatuner and read a tutorial on it or something to set up overclock and fan profiles. I also have an 8800GT got it OCed to 700/1990 using rivatuner. ATI Tools artifact tester is good for testing your overclock to see if its stable.
