oblivion gameplay problems

imm havin problems with my oblivion game.i recently uninstalled it and reinstalled it,and be4 the uninstallment i had mods(which i deleted),but 4 sum reason i keep on getting flashes of black surrounding my character,and white helmets and eyes on NPCs.Can any1 help?

Seems like a texture issue. Uninstall and also go to your program files oblivion folder and delete it. Then try a fresh install. Also delete any saved games.

If some of the items you're wearing were modded, you pretty much answered your own question. You deleted the mods, and now they're not showing up right. That is, if you loaded a previous save. That's why you'll load some saves that actually give a little warning that some stuff in the game up to this save was created by modded material, and may not work properly due to the mod no longer being present. If it's a save game from back when you had mods installed, some content that was produced by them will still be there, just absent of any textures/upgrades.
