"Nvidia has released a new WHQL-certified 178.13 version of its Geforce driver. The new driver supports Geforce 6, 7, 8 and 9, as well as the GTX 200 series and includes the PhysX v8.09.04 software.
The key features listed for this version include support for 2-way and 3-way GTX 200 SLI on Intel's D5400XS motherboards, added support for NVIDIA PhysX acceleration on all GeForce 8-series, 9-series and 200-series GPUs with a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory, GPU overclocking and temperature monitoring with Nvidia System Tools software, and much more.
The new driver brings a lot of new compatibility fixes as well as performance improvements in games such as Assassin's Creed, BioShock, Call of Duty 4, for both single GPU and 2-way SLI. As always, Nvidia didn't forget 3DMark Vantage which ,gets up to 11 percent better performance with a single GPU setup."
